COFFEE

Is your coffee ‘Fair Trade’?

We pride ourselves on our ethical and sustainable practices, it’s what our business has been built on. Our coffee is not only Fair Trade but Direct Trade too. We think it’s Fair Trade plus! Read more about it in 'Our Story'.

How long is the shelf life for coffee beans?

Coffee quality will start to decrease over time, for best results we recommend using whole coffee beans within 6 weeks. If your coffee is pre-ground we recommend using within 2 weeks.

Can you grind my beans for me?

We sure can, however we recommend using whole beans. Visit our Articles section of the website and look for our Grind Guide for more information.

Should I store my coffee in the fridge/freezer?

Coffee beans should be stored in a cool, dark and dry place – but not the fridge or freezer. Moisture and air are the enemy of coffee so we recommend storing your coffee in an Airscape Canister which are available in our shop.

What happened to the Obama Blend? Is there anything similar?

Regrettably it has ended with his term in office! If you’d like to try something with a similar flavour, you could try our Kenya Tchakakhani AA. This Kenyan bean actually made up 50% of the Obama Blend.

Do you offer cupping sessions?

Unfortunately cupping sessions are no longer available in all states for the time being. Our apologies for any disappointment.

Do you sell coffee pods?

We do not produce coffee pods or capsules due to concerns over their impact on the environment.

Are your takeaway coffee cups and lids recyclable?

The green Campos takeaway cups and lids are recyclable. Check your local facilities for details. Our green cups are even commercially compostable!

Ranging in Woolworths

Why Woolworths?

It’s always been our mission to ensure that every Australian is drinking the best quality coffee, no matter where they are. Campos Superior Blend is loved by so many Australians and it’s known for its great quality and consistent, distinctive taste. Our research tells us that despite visiting cafes multiple times a week, an overwhelming 84% of Australian coffee drinkers also buy coffee from the supermarket to use at home, simply because of convenience!

As more and more Australians discover and appreciate all things specialty coffee, they’re searching for higher quality, fresher coffee beans to use at home - the same coffee beans their favourite cafe uses. We want to provide Australians with easy access to cafe quality coffee beans because no one should miss out on good coffee. That’s why we’ve partnered with Woolworths!

Is Campos coffee available in all Woolworths stores?

Our Campos Superior Blend is ranged in 950 Woolworths stores across all Australian States and Territories. It’s also available to buy from Woolworths online.

Is the entire Campos coffee range available at Woolworths?

No, only Campos Superior, our cafe signature blend of coffee beans is available from Woolworths in 250g, 500g and 1KG bags. To discover and enjoy Campos’ exceptional range of blends, single origin and micro-lot coffees, please visit one of our Campos cafe partners or Campos online.

Can I also buy Campos Superior ground coffee beans from Woolworths too?

Not yet, but you never know what the future holds! In the meantime, you can buy Campos Superior Blend ground coffee beans from one of our Campos cafe partners and also online directly from Campos.

Is the Campos coffee available in Woolworths exactly the same coffee that Campos cafes serve?

Yes, this is exactly the same coffee the majority of our Campos cafe partners and baristas are proudly serving.

Campos has always said ‘fresh is best’. How can you guarantee that now you’re on a supermarket shelf?

We are still on a mission to deliver fresh roasted coffee for all Australians to enjoy. We have worked closely with the Woolworths supply chain and distribution teams to ensure that our coffee as fresh as can be when it hits the shelf and we will monitor this very closely. We will continue to roast fresh for every order placed as delivering high quality coffee for all Australians to enjoy remains our obsession.
